Crystal Palace is an extra chapter of Reiji Kaitō's Kikō Shōjo wa Kizutsukanai.
Looking at their train tickets and realizing they have a couple hours to spare, Raishin Akabane suggest that they should relax before the next train to Liverpool. However, Yaya is keen to take a stroll around. As they walk around, Yaya tries on several clothes, but Raishin tells her he will not buy them for her. Much to his shock, Yaya tries on a maid's outfit, in the hope of enticing him. However, Raishin brushes her idea away, and says she should apologize for the stereotypical comment that all servants dress to impress their masters.
After some sightseeing, Raishin reminds Yaya it is time to return to the station and board their train. However, her attention is caught by a portrait of the Crystal Palace in the display of a shop, and wonders if the building still exists. Raishin recalls that the palace once hosted a significant international exhibition, displaying the latest in Machine Arts technology. Desperate, Yaya pulls Raishin into the shop to ask, and becomes excited when the shop owner says the palace still exists. Unfortunately for her, it is seven miles away from their location, and Raishin insists they have to board their train. Feeling sad, Yaya is reluctant to leave, and stares at the portrait.
A while later in the station, Raishin returns to Yaya and presents her with a postcard of the palace, bringing a smile to her face. Raishin apologizes that while they are unable to visit it, he feels buying her a postcard is the least he could do. Cheerful, Yaya thanks him, and they board the train bound for Liverpool.
